Born on October 30th of 1983 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Practice Areas

He specializes in advising on notarial, real estate and corporate matters in general.

His practice includes participation in contracts for the sale and lease of movable and immovable property, constitution and supervision of real guarantees (mortgages and pledges), leasings, trusts and all types of civil and commercial contracts.

His expertise stands out in the structuring and advising of real estate ventures under a horizontal property regime, as well as in the constitution of non-profit entities (civil associations and foundations).

Education

  • Public Notary and Doctor in Law and Social Sciences, School of Law of the University of the Republic. .
  • Graduated of the Annual Course on Ibero-American Real Estate Registry Law, organized by the College of Registrars of Spain and the Autonomous University of Madrid (Madrid, Spain – Edition XVI, 2016).
  • Attended different postgraduate courses in Uruguay and abroad.

Professional experience

From 2008 to 2019 Gustavo worked for Guyer & Regules in the Real Estate Department, where he provided advice in civil and commercial matters.

Since May 2019 he has directed the Notarial & Real Estate Department of the Firm.

Professor (Assistant - Grade 1) at the Faculty of Law of the University of the Republic (Chair of Clinical, Notarial Advice and Consulting).Coordinator and Teacher of the Real Estate Improvement Course at CADE Uruguay.Former Professor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montevideo (Postgraduate Notarial Update).Speaker at academic events organized by the Faculty of Law of UDELAR and CADE.
